Refund Policy
We aim to be fair to both our attendees and our event organizers. Here's how refunds work on Ticket48.
General Refund Policy
Ticket48 provides a platform for organizers to sell tickets to their events. As such, refund policies are largely determined by the individual Event Organizer.
Before purchasing a ticket, we strongly recommend reviewing the specific refund policy listed on the event page. However, Ticket48 sets minimum standards that all organizers must adhere to.
Event Cancellations & Postponements
If an event is cancelled by the organizer, you are entitled to a full refund of the ticket face value.
- Cancellations: If an event is cancelled, Ticket48 will process refunds to all attendees automatically where funds are still held by us. If funds have been settled to the organizer, the organizer is responsible for issuing refunds.
- Rescheduling: If an event is postponed, your ticket will generally remain valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, you are entitled to a refund if you request it within 7 days of the announcement.
When You Can Request a Refund
Eligible for Refund
- Event cancelled by organizer
- Event Date/Time changed significantly
- Event Location changed significantly
- Organizer's policy allows refunds
Usually Not Eligible
- Change of personal plans
- Weather conditions (unless event cancelled)
- "No show" at the event
- Lost or stolen tickets (digital tickets can be re-sent)
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Log in to your Ticket48 account.
- Go to My Tickets.
- Find the ticket you wish to refund and click on "View Details".
- If the event allows refunds, you will see a "Request Refund" button.
- Fill out the reason for your request and submit.
Note on Fees: Ticket48 booking fees are non-refundable unless the event was cancelled by the organizer. These fees cover the cost of processing transactions and maintaining our secure platform.
